Here, I am going to share some of my ideas for a Sonic Advance 4. These ideas will soon hopefully have mock-ups and lots of other things. This is hopefully the final update to the proof of concept. I hope you like these ideas.

Here are my ideas for zone names:
Sunshine Suprise Zone
Prisitine Palace
Hectic Hills Zone
Diamond Depot Zone
Feeble Fortress Zone
Mystic Mondo Zone
Airline Ambush Zone
Atomic Ambush
Cybernetic Chase Zone (aka the final zone)

Story:
Ever since the events of Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Dr "Eggman" Robotnik's plan to revive Mecha Sonic has finally become a reality. After much preperation, Mecha Sonic 2.0 is ready to capture all the flickies on the island again and destroy Sonic for once and for all, with the help from the doctor himself. It is now up to Sonic and his friends to stop Mecha Sonic 2.0 and its creator.

Sonic's moves:
Spindash
Jump Dash (Not Homing Attack)

Tails' moves:
Spindash

Knuckles' moves:

Glide and climb
Punch Combo (can be done on ground and air)

Amy:
Dash (basically a spindash)
Hammer Combo (can be done in air or on ground)

Cream:
Spindash
Flight
Cheese combo (can be done in air or on ground

Shadow:
Spindash
Homing attack
Quick drop

Mighty:
Spindash
Wall jump
Double jump

Bonus levels:
Gemstone Grandeur
Radon Rocket
Copper Cove

Special stage concept:

The player will enter these stages with checkpoints with 50+ rings in hand. The special stages will include Sonic 2 styles special stages where you need to race to the end of the stage. You can use a boost in these stages that can be increased with rings. This puts rings into good use so you don't just collect a certain ammount of them. When you finished the special stage, you get a chaos emerald (duh).

Extras:
Classic Sonic can be unlocked once you finished the entire game (idea from :iconjoshthehedgehog33:). He will have a spindash, a peelout and a dropdash. The game will also have artifacts around each act of a level. These artifacts will feature references to other sonic games. That is all I have for extra features for now.

Boss concepts:

Egg spade:
Eggman has made himself a giant shovel. He shall use the shovel to throw sand and spikes that he digs up at the player. Unfortunately, when he starts digging, he becomes a very easy target for a second or two.

Mecha Spike Sonic:
Mecha Sonic 2.0 will try to hit you in his deadly ball form while shooting spikes at the player. Inspired by Silver Sonic from Sonic 2, this robotic chainsaw will sure give you a rough time.

Egg fan:
The doctor now has got a fan that attempts to blow the player off the stage. Hítting the eggman will not be so easy, as he is blowing you away from him. You will need to carefully approuch him from the air.

Mecha Icicle Sonic:
Mecha Sonic 2.0 is now using the terrain has an advantage. He will use his power to drop icicle onto you. Use those icicles as your advantage to hit Mecha Sonic or prepare to shower in ice.

Egg boiler:
Eggman now is riding a fire-spitting machine, trying to burn you alive. Your objective is to simply jump on him while he trying to shoot fire on you.

Mecha Laser Sonic:
In this boss fight, Mecha Sonic uses his built in mega laser to zap the player while moving around. You, the player will need to duck under the laser and hit Mecha Sonic in order to defeat him.

Egg bomber:
Here, Eggman attempts to knock the player of the stage with his many bombs. You will need to bounce off the bombs to hit Eggman.

Final Boss:
This final boss includes Mecha Sonic races the player, while Eggman drops many hazards onto the huge race track. If the player wins the race, the player will get to finish Mecha Sonic once and for all.
